Raspberry Snowball Dessert

Mom says this is the first dessert she ever made.

1 c. sugar
1 envelope Knox gelatin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 c. coconut
2 c. whipped cream

Heat sugar, gelatin, salt and milk and stir until dissolved. Cool. Fold in coconut and whipped cream. Pour into jello mold and chill to set. Serve with sauce.

Sauce
10 oz. frozen raspberries
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 small jar current jelly

Boil until clear and slightly thick.
